The G11 class includes antifreezes produced using traditional (silicate) technology. These antifreezes use inorganic substances and their various combinations as corrosion inhibitor additives:

- Nitrates.
The silicate additives contained in G11 antifreezes form a protective layer that covers the entire internal surface of the cooling system. This layer protects the system from damage.
