HISTORY
BAKSS Company is one of the leading manufacturers of automotive chemicals not only in Russia but also in neighboring countries. The story of BAKSS began in 2001 with a small-scale production of coolant (Tosol) using traditional technology. Alexander Spirin, who has remained the company’s General Director since its inception, set a clear course from day one toward manufacturing high-quality products fully meeting customer requirements.
“Disappointment from poor quality lasts longer than joy from a low price.”
These words by Henry Ford perfectly reflect the company’s leadership approach to organizing the production process.
Initially, BAKSS’s coolant production was housed in a small facility. Tremendous effort was required to evolve from that modest workshop into today’s large-scale production operation, equipped with a fleet of modern technological equipment and vehicles, a well-structured management system, skilled personnel, and a developed, certified, and fully functional quality management system. Currently, the company operates dedicated production units for coolants and heat transfer fluids, brake fluids, windshield washer fluids, and an AUS32 (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) production line.
In today’s market, producing a high-quality product alone is not enough—it must also be appealing to the customer. Therefore, the company’s management places great emphasis on developing auxiliary production capabilities. In 2001, a bottling workshop was established, followed in 2012 by a container manufacturing facility.
The water treatment station ensures that only water of the required purity level is used in production, guaranteeing the absence of undesirable impurities in the final products (such as iron salts, hardness salts, mechanical and organic contaminants). Notably, it was the commissioning of this station in 2011 that enabled BAKSS to add distilled water to its product portfolio.
The company’s transport department can deliver purchased products directly to the customer. Additionally, the facility is equipped to load products into the customer’s own vehicles (trucks, tankers, or any type of cargo transport). There is also a designated area for assembling railway containers.
Product quality depends significantly on storage conditions. Therefore, considerable resources and effort have been invested in developing warehouse infrastructure. An extensive array of storage tanks for liquid raw materials and finished products, enclosed warehouses for chemical reagents, and dedicated storage areas for packaging and finished goods ensure that BAKSS products retain both quality and marketable appearance.
BAKSS – A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
In today’s competitive market, only a heightened focus on product quality can guarantee customer satisfaction—and quality control must be implemented at every stage of production. For this reason, BAKSS adheres to the following practices:
- Raw materials are sourced exclusively from manufacturers or their official distributors;
- Mandatory incoming inspection of all raw materials and components;
- Use of only certified raw materials;
- Mandatory final inspection of every product batch;
- Regular calibration of all measuring equipment;
- Continuous updating of technical documentation;
- Scheduled internal QMS audits;
- Active customer feedback collection;
- Ongoing quality monitoring by company management.
Such comprehensive control would be impossible without the active work of the in-house production laboratory. Company leadership places strong emphasis on this critical department. Investments in modern laboratory equipment are amply justified by the consistent quality of finished products and the laboratory team’s significant contribution to the company’s development.
All BAKSS products are accompanied by a complete set of compliance documentation in accordance with applicable legislation, including Declarations of Conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Voluntary GOST R Certification Certificates, and State Registration Certificates.
The company’s Quality Management System is certified in accordance with GOST ISO 9001:2011.
EXPANDING OUR RANGE: ACHIEVEMENTS AND FUTURE PLANS
Through product line expansion, the introduction of new grades of traditional products, and adoption of advanced technologies, BAKSS now offers customers more than 10 product types, primarily targeting motorists.
Our current product portfolio includes:
- Coolants (Antifreezes);
- Brake fluids;
- AUS32 (Diesel Exhaust Fluid);
Specific grades and detailed specifications for each product category are available in the PRODUCTS section of our website.
Each new product introduced to mass production was preceded by extensive work by our technologists to develop an optimal manufacturing process. The production laboratory tested various formulations and conducted full-scale evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
Of course, BAKSS has plans to develop additional product lines. In the near future, we will launch a contactless car wash shampoo for our customers.
Our delivery geography continues to expand, now covering CIS countries (Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan) as well as international markets (Baltic states, Poland, Mongolia, Czech Republic). This growth is the result of the company’s strategic management policy, which ensures not only immediate commercial success but also long-term customer satisfaction—evidenced by a growing base of loyal clients who consistently and deliberately choose products bearing the BAKSS logo.
